Saginaw Township Police Gather For Awards Ceremony And Memorial Service

The Saginaw Township Police Department’s annual Awards Program and Memorial Service dates back at least two decades and coincides with the
annual Police Memorial Week observed nation-wide.

Township Police Chief Don Pussehl says special recognition went to Officer Justin Severs selected by his peers in conjunction with the Saginaw Exchange Club as Officer of the Year.

Pussehl called Severs very dedicated to his job.

Pussehl added a Lifetime Meritorious Service Award went to Sargent John Sadowski who recently retired after 25 years with the department.

In all 18 officers and a civilian received awards during the ceremony held Tuesday.
