Charter Commission To Keep Bay City Wards At Nine

Bay City Charter Commissioners narrowly voted five to four Tuesday to keep the number of City Commissioners and wards at Nine.

Some members hope to revisit the issue perhaps later in September.

A final draft document could be ready to be submitted to the State Attorney General this fall.

Approval there would lead to a vote by city residents sometime in 2019.
