Northwood University Sports

The Northwood Timberwolves are a part of the NCAA Division II and are members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Men’s Timberwolf sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis and track. Women's Timberwolf sports include basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, track, and volleyball.

In 2009 the Timberwolves Men’s baseball team placed for the first time in the GLIAC baseball tournament. The Timberwolves came in as the runner up in the tournament.
