Bay City House Fire Under Investigation

Investigators say a fire of undetermined origin leaves extensive damage to an east side Bay City house. Firefighters said there was heavy smoke coming from the rear of 1522 11th Street about 5:00 Sunday morning.

Three people living in the small house escaped without injury.

The homeowner told firefighters there was a large propane tank in the kitchen. The tank was removed from the house without any problem.

A dollar loss has not been set.
