Saginaw Township Police are investigating a rash of car larcenies over the
last week or so. Officials say eight to ten unlocked vehicles were entered
in areas south of State Street between Sunday night and Monday. Items taken
included GPS devices valued on average at $250 apiece, compact discs and
stereo systems.
Another dozen or so vehicle break-in's happened late last week in the
vicinity of State and Center. Police are again reminding area residents to
lock their vehicles and remove or hide valuables out of sight from would-be
thieves.
