Obama To Make Stops In Michigan This Week

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Grand Rapids and Macomb County on Wednesday.  The Illinois senator didn't campaign in Michigan before the Jan. 15 presidential primary and took his name off the ballot because Michigan had broken state party rules by moving up its primary,  forcing his supporters to vote for Uncommitted.

Obama remains ahead of Hillary Rodham Clinton in the national delegate count. He'll be in Michigan a day after the pair face off in West Virginia.

Last week, Republican candidate John McCain campaigned at Oakland University north of Detroit.
